Nature has always played a tremendous part in my life. I was and still am fascinated by trees and flowers, wildlife and how everything changes and evolves with the seasons. I am always trying to capture the beauty around me with my faithful companion - my camera.
Always on the hunt for a new adventure. Always dreaming of foreign lands. Places I haven't been yet but also places that have become a home away from home.
Having lived, worked or studied in 7 countries across 3 continents has made me a citizen of the world. I'm constantly driven by my desire to explore more - near and far away.
Take me to a book store and I will be like a kid in a candy store. There is just something about those carefully chosen words, printed on paper and bound together, that is magical.

Everything from biographies, natural sciences, non-fiction, fiction, classics and so on.
You can also find a bookshelf called "mela's must reads" which is basically the continuation of this list and includes all the books I absolutely loved reading!
